Alberta man arrested after crashing into a ditch south of Beaverton

Police charged a driver from Alberta with impaired driving after he crashed into a ditch on Saturday night.

Officers arrived at the Regional Road 23 and Thorah Park Boulevard area around 9:30 p.m. September 25. They found a black SUV in the ditch. No one was injured in the crash.

The officers believed the driver had been drinking and took him to the North Division station to take a Breathalyzer test.

The 38 year-old driver faces impaired operation charges. His car has been impounded and his license suspended for 90 days.
