Ajax McDonald’s restaurant supporting Grandview Kids at grand re-opening Tuesday

After a five-week closure for renovations the McDonald’s restaurant on Kingston Road in Ajax – one of the busiest in the region – will celebrate its official re-opening Tuesday.
The restaurant shut down for extensive upgrades both inside and to the drive-thru April 18. The new dual lane drive-thru re-opened two weeks ago, while the work is still being completed inside.
To mark the occasion franchisee Bradley Jacobson is supporting Grandview Kids over the next month with $1 from every medium coffee sold between May 23 and June 20 donated directly to the organization, which provides specialized programs, outpatient clinical treatment and support to thousands of children and youth with physical, communication and developmental needs and their families across Durham Region.
Jacobson and the other Durham Region McDonald’s franchisees have helped raise $1 million towards Grandview’s new headquarters in Ajax.
