Ajax man wins $100 K playing Daily Keno

First time player Rhys Welch of Ajax figured out Daily Keno quickly, winning $100,000 in the May 13 MIDDAY draw.

Welch, a 29 year-old father of one, said this was his first time playing Daily Keno. “A friend from work told me to try it out, so I randomly selected these numbers and I won,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.

Welch said he didn’t believe what he was seeing at first. “I just kept saying this didn’t happen and kept checking my email.”

He plans to put some away for his daughter’s education and take a vacation. “It’s still surreal!”
