Ajax man arrested after stabbing leaves one male dead, female seriously injured

One person has been arrested following a fatal stabbing in Ajax on Friday, Apr. 1.
At around 3:55 p.m., officers were called for a stabbing at a residence on Bowles Drive.
“When they arrived, they found a male and female victim at the residence who were transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries,” said police.
An 18 year old male was pronounced dead at the hospital, while the female victim remains in stable condition.
The accused, a 22 year old Ajax man, was arrested at the scene. He’s charged with Second Degree Murder, Attempted Murder, and Aggravated Assault.
Police say this is an isolated incident and believe there is no concern for public safety.
