Last night’s Air Supply concert at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre was cancelled at the last minute.

According to the soft-rock band known for more than 40 years of hits like Even the Nights Are Better and All Out of Love, their equipment never arrived. The concert has been rescheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17.

Following the aborted concert, the band put out the following statement.

“So here we were at our show tonight … Due to screw ups by our cargo company and Air Canada, our gear didn’t arrive at all … We went onstage and explained what happened … You all blew us away with how understanding you were … Tonight’s show has been moved to Sunday, September 18th at 2:00 pm and all tickets for the show will be honoured for the rescheduled date … Once again, THANK YOU from the deepest part of our hearts, for your patience and understanding … It was nice to get to meet most of the audience in the lobby after the show and connect … We look forward to seeing you all on Sunday!”

There are still a handful of seats available for the show. Visit here for information.
