Fans and aviation enthusiasts alike were treated to a rare sight today as Drake’s private Boeing 767 airplane made an unexpected stop at the North lounge of Mississauga’s Pearson Airport.
The aircraft which typically operates out of Hamilton, Ontario, was spotted on the tarmac.
Interestingly, attempts to track Drake’s plane via radar apps hit a dead end, keeping its landing time a mystery
Drake, along with rapper J. Cole is currently on his “It’s All A Blur” tour and has been travelling through North America with 72 concerts scheduled in various cities in Canada and the U.S.
Air Drake’s touchdown at Pearson Airport has sparked intrigue, though the purpose remains unknown.
Following his show last night (Feb. 17) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he’s set to perform in Columbus, Ohio on Feb. 20 and Feb. 21.
With this unexpected detour from his usual route, it could be possible the singer is sneaking in a day off between shows.
