A Mississauga man is planning a trip after winning the lottery.

Fon Que of Mississauga won the jackpot, $140,789.20, in the Poker Lotto All In game on Dec. 30, according to a press release from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).  He also won $5,000 on the instant portion of his Poker Lotto play, bringing his total winnings to $145,789.20.

Fon, who works in the jewelry industry, says he’s been playing the lottery for about 30 years. He says Poker Lotto is his favourite game.

“I went to play a round at the store and I was shocked to see I won. I couldn’t believe it,” he said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I couldn’t wait to tell my wife!”

Fon plans to go on a trip somewhere in the country and decide how to spend the rest of his winnings later.

“I feel joy and happiness,” he said.

The winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on Burnhamthorpe Road in Mississauga.
