Finally, rib-lovers in Niagara Falls can eat their meals on benches in open air rather than have them handed through their car window.

Because the pandemic knocked the public aspect of the Niagara Falls Rotary Ribfest for the past two summers, forcing the event to become a driver-thru only, it’s back in a big way for the weekend of June 17 to 19 (Father’s Day) in Rapidsview Fall.

While the four competing rib stands – Billy Bones, Bone Daddy, Hogfather and Silver Bullet – are ready to BBQ up a storm, Rotary organizers have brought in 11 different bands-artists to entertain over the weekend.

Almost all of the entertainers and rib stands are from the Niagara area and the event is in his 18th year.

The festivities will start Friday from 4 pm to 11 pm and run Saturday noon to 11 pm and Sunday noon to 7 pm.

On their website, the Rotary Club of Niagara Falls says, “Money raised during this event goes back into the community. We have contributed to Rotary House, Pathstone Mental Health, Niagara Nutrition Partners, GNGH Foundation, Boys and Girls Club of Niagara, Habitat for Humanity, Project Share and Literacy Niagara to name but a few.”

On the music stage, rib lovers will see Avenue Inn (4-6 pm), Feverish Lemons (6:30-8:30 pm) and Shin-diG (9-11 pm) on Friday.

On Saturday, there’s four bands up with Isabella Milano (noon-1 pm), Jessica Wilson (1:30-3:30 pm),  Soul Jam (4-6 pm), J.I.N. (6:30-8:30 pm) and finally, Vinyl Flux (9-11 pm).

On Sunday, there’s four bands up with Evan Rotella (noon-2 pm), Lisette & Tyler (2:30-4:30 pm) and Slider (5-7 pm). However, from 4:30 to 5 pm, organizers will be using the stage for the Ribber Awards Presentation.

There’s lots more trucks scattered through the event with fun and games for the whole family. For more information, check HERE!
