AfroJazz Fest coming soon to Milton

The AfroJazz Fest is coming soon to the Town of Milton.

The festival, which aims to showcase the beauty and diversity of African and Caribbean culture in Halton region, will take place at Milton Community Sports Park, located at 805 Santa Maria Blvd.

It will feature performing arts, music, food, a workshop area, a visual art exhibition, a children’s zone and African and Caribbean board games.

Additionally, it will feature music such as rumba, salsa, reggae, Afro-soul, traditional African music, a drum circle, an African dance workshop, activities for children, etc.

The festival will take place on Aug. 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Aug 27 from 2:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
