Affordable Scandinavian store opens second Canadian location in southern Ontario mall

A celebrated (and affordable) international retailer is opening a new spot in Toronto.

Flying Tiger, for those who have not had the pleasure, is an immensely popular retail shop originating in Copenhagen which specializes in accessible household supplies.

The location, which made its Canadian debut in Toronto’s famous CF Eaton Centre, is expanding beyond the downtown core and opening a new location at Vaughan Mills this week.

As for a breakdown of what new shoppers can expect, imported Danish wares will be the focal point of your retail experience.

Think funky home and kitchen supplies, like cute dish towels and artsy glassware, as well as a huge selection of European stationery, and a rotating selection of great gift ideas.

“Something new is coming your way… with colourful little things, useful surprises, and finds you didn’t know you needed,” read the official post.

You can expect the Vaughan Mills Flying Tiger location to open this week, on Friday, July 10.
