Abnormally low seasonal temperatures expected in Mississauga and Brampton

Mississauga residents should prepare for abnormally low seasonal temperatures Monday

Mississauga and Brampton residents should brace themselves for a cooler beginning to their week as tomorrow (May 16) calls for clouds and showers during the day.

Tonight, the showers begin with a 30 per cent chance of rainfall and a possible thunderstorm. The temperature will dip to 14 degrees Celsius overnight.

Tomorrow, showers will begin in the morning and end in the afternoon with a temperature of 10 degrees Celsius.

The high for the day will only reach 15 degrees Celsius, an abnormal temperature trend for this time of year. The low will fall to 4 degrees Celsius overnight.

Wednesday brings a mix of sun and cloud and a slightly warmer high of 17 degrees Celsius.

As the week progresses, a little more warmth appears with a high of 22 degrees Celsius on Thursday (May 19) with a low of 13 degrees Celsius expected for the evening.

Friday offers a high temperature of 27 degrees Celsius but also the chance of showers.

A 30 per cent chance of showers during the day will become a 60 per cent chance as the evening arrives.
