Police calling woman’s death at Hamilton apartment homicide

A woman is dead following an incident at a Hamilton apartment that police are ruling a homicide.

Hamilton Police arrived at the building on Herkimer Street around 5:10 p.m. Monday evening and are still the scene conducting their investigation.

One suspect has been arrested and is now in custody.

The details surrounding the incident are still emerging, however authorities have urged residents to expect a heavy police presence in the vicinity of the apartment.
