A high-end Toronto restaurant is making waves after adding a nearly $130 hot dog to their menu.
Animal Steakhouse, a downtown culinary staple known for its prime cuts of meat and lavish menu items, recently posted to Instagram that it would be paying tribute to former Toronto Blue Jays player Bo Bichette with a gourmet ballpark staple.
“When Bo Bichette told the world ANIML was his favourite restaurant in Toronto, we offered him free steak for life if he stayed. It didn’t work… but we’re still glad to have him back,” read the post.

Bichette signed a three-year contract, priced at $126 million, with the New York Mets earlier this year, ending his nearly decade-long run with the Jays.
According to multiple reports, this wagyu hot dog — topped with truffle corn relish, butter-poached Atlantic lobster, and seared Quebec foie gras — is paying tribute to Bichette as he is back in town today, as the Mets face off against the Jays.
Its reported price of $126 also seems to cheekily pay homage to the price tag on the contract that took Bichette away from the six and to the big apple.
The Bo Dog is available at Animal Steakhouse for the remainder of the Mets vs. Blue Jays series, with all proceeds going to charity.
