A steak and seafood restaurant has closed down in Mississauga

A popular restaurant in Streetsville serving up steak and seafood with an Italian flair has permanently closed up shop.
Officially launched in 1996 —Gabriel’s Restaurant Bar and Grill offered flavourful meals made daily with fresh ingredients.
Located at 6501 Mississauga Rd the establishment became the go-to for a romantic night out with a special someone or a place to grab brunch and hang out with some friends.
From appetizers like fried calamari and mussels to charred steaks and salads— even endless pasta dish options were just some of the menu items available.
The restaurant also had a section with a bar that served beer and wine, if you were feeling extra fancy.

Frequent customers also knew about the billiard lounge where they could engage in a bit of fun before or after their meal.
Patrons were left disappointed after it was announced that Gabriel’s Restaurant Bar and Grill would be closing in February of this year.
Some even turned to the restaurants page on Google and left a review on how much they will miss the place.
It’s unknown why the restaurant is no longer in business, but customers are hopeful that the owners will open up a new location elsewhere in Mississauga.
