A power outage is currently in effect in Brampton.
Alectra reported shortly after 6:30 a.m. that 896 homes and businesses are without power around the area of Bramalea and following Williams Parkway West starting from Bramalea Road.
The cause of the outage is being investigated.
Power should be back up around 9am.
