Calling all health foodies! A popular wellness blend bar has announced that its newest franchise will be opening in Mississauga.

The company announced on their website that along with their five other locations which include, Burlington, Hamilton, Guelph, Toronto and the recently opened store in Milton —Mississauga’s Port Credit will be added to the list.

Although there is no official address for the new location, customers can expect to find the same made-to-order smoothies and bowls on their menu.

Each bowl has a different recipe with the intention to help energize the body.

The bowl starts off with a base that contains carefully selected superfood ingredients which include fruits,  juices and is topped off with granola.

The bowls can also be customized to your preference.

Wellness boosters that help to enhance power, focus, or immunity  are also available and can be added to your bowl at a cost. Some options include pea protein isolate, turmeric, lion’s mane ( a type of mushroom) and green tea extract.

According to Heal, a crowd favourite is the Acai bowl which has Acai berry, strawberry, blueberry, banana, agave and oat mylk topped with fresh granola, coconut, vegan chocolate flakes, hemp seed and the same berries used in the base.

There are other add-on available to satisfy every craving and they include almond drizzle, honey, layered peanut butter, chia pudding, goji berries and bee pollen.

If you prefer to drink these ingredients rather than eating them in a bowl by the spoonful —there is an option to blend it into a smoothie.

The Wake and Shake is highly popular. It’s mixed with espresso, cocoa, banana, cinnamon, natural peanut butter, agave, hemp seed, and Oat Mylk.

Heal also offers healthy waffles which are not only vegan but  gluten free—who says you can’t have dessert for breakfast.

The PB Split waffle is a frequently ordered item. It’s topped with sliced banana, coconut whip, natural peanut butter drizzle, vegan chocolate drizzle, and crushed walnuts.

Foodies who are eager to try freshly curated bowls, smoothies and waffles from this place will have to wait a bit longer, as the company has not mentioned an official grand-opening date for their Port Credit location.
