A pedestrian has died after being struck by vehicle in Mississauga

Police responded to a collision in Mississauga this evening (Sept 17).

Around 8:30 p.m., a male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at Erin Mills Parkway and Folkway Drive in Mississauga.

The male pedestrian in his 40s was taken to a trauma centre and has since been pronounced dead.

The driver remained at the scene, police say.

Peel Police’s Major Collision Bureau is taking over the investigation into this collision.

Residents should avoid the area as it will be closed for the next couple of hours.
