A new No Frills just opened in southern Ontario

No Frills has opened a new location in southern Ontario.

The discount grocery chain opened a store at 1455 Huron Church Road in Windsor, which is near Tecumseh Road West.

It’s the fourth No Frills in Windsor, Loblaw, which owns No Frills, said in a release.

“Windsor is a diverse and growing community, and we’re excited to open our fourth No Frills location in the city, giving customers even more access to the value and convenience they count on,” said Jennifer Teixeira, the senior vice president of No Frills operations.

“From a broad grocery assortment and fresh and prepared foods, to curbside pickup and practical household items, our team is ready to welcome customers.”

The store is 36,000 square feet and has a hot food department, as well as a bakery department.

Customers will also have the option of PC Express with curbside pickup.

“West Windsor No Frills offers a wide selection of groceries tailored to Windsor’s diverse community, including an expanded multicultural assortment, fresh ready-to-eat options such as hot cooked chickens and samosas, and freshly baked donuts, croissants and danishes,” Loblaw said.

“Customers can also shop a dedicated general merchandise aisle featuring practical household items such as microwaves and coffee makers.”

The store will have an offer of 10 per cent back in PC Optimum points for eligible purchases on Tuesdays.

Loblaw said the new store has led to the creation of around 100 jobs.

It is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
