A major collision has caused several road closures in Brampton

Police in Brampton are reporting road closures after a major collision.

Peel Regional Police posted earlier this morning reports of a major collision at Chinguacousy Rd and Daviselm Dr in Brampton.

The collision, according to police, involved a motor vehicle and a cyclist, and occured around 1:30 a.m.

The cyclist was taken to the local trauma centre while police and the driver remained on the scene.

The victim’s injuries have been deemed critical, and at this time, road closures in the area continue to remain in effect.
