A Huge Food Festival is Coming to Mississauga This Spring

You know that summer is fast approaching when food festival announcements start coming fast and furious.
And honestly, the warmer weather—and the food—can't come soon enough.
Diners who prefer—or only partake in—vegan and vegetarian cuisine might be happy to hear that the second annual Mississauga Vegfest (MVF) will be happening on Saturday, May 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Port Credit Memorial Arena.
The food-based event is designed for diners who are vegan, plant-based, or simply curious about dishes that are free from animal products.
Organizers says MVF is a family-friendly event where anyone can learn about what veganism means, who it affects and how to participate.
Last year marked MVF's inaugural event and festival organizers say they welcomed over 85 vendors and well over 7,500 attendees.
"What started as an idea, quickly exploded into a huge success. We immediately became one of Ontario’s biggest and best Vegfests and we will absolutely keep that up this year," organizers say on MVF's Facebook page.
As far as vendors go, diners can expect to purchase some tasty goods from 33 Kitchens, Animal Liberation Kitchen, Bald Baker, Big Vegan Cake, Copper Branch, Dar Nabati, Eva's Original Chimneys, Dreamers Dog Sanctuary, Kitties and Cabernet and more.

The event is close to the Port Credit GO station and numerous parking lots are located near the event.
The event is free to attend.
