Residents should brace themselves for some turbulent weather ahead.

For the second week in a row, there will be more chilly nights, rainy days, sporadic moments of sunshine and windy conditions in Mississauga, Brampton, and surrounding areas.

Today (Nov. 5) it will be mainly cloudy with a high of 6 C. There is a 70 per cent chance —very likely—that it will rain in the early evening, possibly extending into the next day.

Monday begins with predominantly cloudy conditions and a 70 per cent likelihood of showers by the late afternoon. Wind speeds in the southern region will increase to 30 km/h. Temperatures are set to climb to 12 C, marking the warmest day of the week. As night falls, the rain will transition into a light drizzle.

As per Environment Canada, the overcast conditions persist into Tuesday, accompanied by a daytime high of 9 C. Temperatures will gradually drop to -3 C in the evening, —which will be the coldest day of the week. If outdoor activities are on your agenda, consider layering up and having an umbrella on standby, as there is also a 40 percent chance of rain.

According to meteorologists, Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be dominated by a mix of rain and clouds. Temperatures will fluctuate between 4 C and 10 C during the day before dropping to a low of 2 C by the evening.

With Friday on the horizon, the rain dissipates as the Weather Network forecasts sunshine with some cloudy periods. Temperatures will hit 7 C, where it will remain for the greater part of the day before falling to 1 C with cloudy skies throughout the night.

Saturday brings various kinds of weather. While temperatures will stay at a steady 5 C, the day will be mainly cloudy with sunny breaks. There is a 30 per cent chance that rain will also make an appearance.
