A $10,000 Lotto Max ticket sold a year or so ago in Mississauga won’t be worth the paper it’s printed on if it’s not turned in for the winnings in the next two weeks.

OLG officials say the ticket, which won the Encore prize in the Friday, Jan. 8 Lotto Max draw, contains the winning numbers 9-5-1-8-2-3-0.

Players must match the first six Encore numbers in exact order to win the $10,000 prize. Ticket holders have one year from the draw date to claim their prize.

Lottery officials will not say where, specifically, the ticket was sold in Mississauga for security purposes.

Owner or owners of the ticket should fill in the back of the ticket, sign it and contact the OLG Support Centre at 1-800-387-0098.

The OLG reminds lottery players that they can check their tickets from home in several ways:

  • check the winning numbers on OLG.ca
  • use the OLG app on your mobile device. Scan the ticket barcode and wait for message on screen
  • sign up on OLG.ca for winning numbers to be emailed to you
  • call OLG “win” line at 416-870-8946 (Toronto) or toll free at 1-866-891-8946 (outside Toronto)
