For kids, it doesn’t matter how cold it is during the Santa Claus Parade. They are there to see the big guy and don’t care about the weather. For adults, it’s maybe a little less fun.

On December 10, one Niagara-on-the-Lake restaurant will offer up the best of both worlds.

The Gate House Restaurant at 124 on Queen Hotel & Spa will be hosting a very special breakfast families will not want to miss.  Santa and his jolly elves will be in attendance posing for pictures and celebrating the return of the parade after a two year absence.

Children will be delighted with holiday themed entertainment, face painting, crafts, and a VIP viewing of the parade from the comfort of the historic restaurant.

The folks from Treadwell Cuisine will be creating a delectable farm-to-table menu filled with breakfast favourites and yummy treats like Santa Smoothies for kids and mimosas for adults.

The hotel will be giving a table to families from The Red Roof Retreat as well as donating all proceeds raised from hot chocolate sales to this important organization committed to changing and shaping lives of those living with Special Needs in the Niagara Region.

The Christmas Parade is scheduled to begin at 11 am and will start at the intersection of King and Center Street in Old Town and travel throughout its traditional route down Castlereagh, Wellington, Byron/Prideaux, Simcoe and Queen Streets.

The breakfast runs December 10 from 8:30 am to 11 am and tickets are $45 for adults, $22.50 for children with any under two years old in for free. Book your table HERE.
