One person dead after two car crash in Welland

One person is dead after two cars were in a head-on collision in Welland today (October 5).
The Niagara OPP and Niagara Police were both at the scene in the Highyway 140 and Netherby Rd area after the crash and found one car engulfed in flames and one person dead at the scene.
The police say, “Updates to follow, detour in place, avoid the area.”
