Crooner Dean Martin once sang, “When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that’s amore…”

Forget about it, Dean. St. Catharines has a pizzeria where if the slices are so big, if they hit you in the eye, be ready to call an ambulance. (If the moon hits your eye, call NASA.)

Rollin’ Pizza at 314 Lake St has massive slices that are roughly one foot across at the crust and nearly two feet (22 inches) in length. That’s more pizza in one slice than an entire medium round pizza.

Accordingly, it’ll cost you a couple of bucks – a basic slice of cheese will run you $18 but additional toppings, such as pepperoni are $2.20 each.

Of course, the pizzeria also makes the traditional round ones in all sizes and multiple varieties such as “Dill With It” pizza with its toppings including garlic butter, mozzarella, dill pickles, and ranch. Let’s not forget their “Hey Macarena!” with its garlic butter, noodles, and cheese sauce.

The pizzeria is open Sunday through Wednesday from 3 pm to 9 pm and Thursday through Saturday from noon to 9 pm. Call 905-938-9797 or visit: https://www.rollinpizza.ca/

In the meanwhile, watch this competitive eater and his buddy try to plow their way through a Rollin’ Pizza Slice!
