A ‘spooktacular’ Halloween event is returning soon to Milton.

Mountsberg’s “Evening Halloween Spooktacular” is a family-friendly event that begins Oct. 8 and runs until Oct. 30. from Thursday to Sunday.

The event will enable guests to visit the haunted barn and take a spooky night walk through the forest.

Families will also be able to enjoy campfires, a farm animal barn and a natural playground before scavenger hunts for Halloween treats round up the night.

Guests who wish to have an extra special experience can pre-register for a wagon ride with a “ghostly driver” that will take them through the deep, dark woods.

Children and parents are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes and come prepared with flashlights to help navigate dark areas.

While there are no “jump scares,” some areas may be dark and appear scary, which is why the experience is recommended for children five years of age or older.

Hot drinks and s’mores may be added to reservations when purchasing tickets.
