Celebrate spooky season in Brampton with Fright Night festivities

Trick or treat your families to some spooktacular fun in Brampton this October with spooky-season events to keep the ghosts and ghouls happy.

The City is holding a host of Halloween-themed Fright Night events this month at recreation and community centres across Brampton, starting with hay rides and a haunted house at the Loafers Lake Recreation Centre next Friday (Oct. 14).

Each Fright Night event has its own feature attraction, as well as food trucks, games and crafts, and plenty of family-friendly activities like face painting, balloon twisting and an airbrush tattoo booth.

Here’s a breakdown of the City’s Halloween Fight Nights:


Loafers Lake Recreation Centre – Friday, Oct. 14:

What: Hay rides, haunted house, food trucks, face painting, games, crafts and more.

Gore Meadows Community Centre – Friday, Oct. 21:

Haunted house, harvest maze, food trucks, photo booth, magician and more.

Greenbriar Recreation Centre – Saturday, Oct. 22:

Spooky Skate, haunted house, hay rides, harvest maze and more.

Professor’s Lake Recreation Centre – Friday, Oct. 28:

Haunted forest, hay rides, food trucks, magician, games and more.

Century Gardens Community Centre​​ – Saturday, Oct. 29:

Haunted house, harvest maze, airbrush tattoos, food trucks, games and more.


All events run from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and admission is free with the donation of a non-perishable food item.
