Fundraising dinner being hosted in support of Milton Historical Society

A fundraising dinner in support of the Milton Historical Society is being hosted later this month.

The Milton Historical Society is constituted as a charitable organization and its mission is “to encourage appreciation of, and promote knowledge of, the historical and cultural heritage of the Town of Milton.”

The annual Gourmet & Spirits fundraising dinner will take place at La Toscana restaurant, located at 165 Main St. East on Oct. 18 and Oct. 25 at 6:00 p.m.

The event will feature a presentation by local historian John McDonald about the history of the temperance movement and prohibition in Milton.

Dinner tickets are being sold for $90 and can be purchased online.
