Fire crews respond to significant house fire in Brampton

A house fire in Brampton last night (Oct. 1) warranted a two-alarm response from the fire department as flames engulfed the home.

Brampton Fire and Emergency Services reported shortly after 9 p.m. that they were on the scene of a residential fire in the area of Clarence St. and Erlesmere Ave.

Crews called for an additional team to help contain the fire which originated in the garage of the home.

About 30 minutes later, there were no longer visible flames.

The Incident Commander declared the loss stopped at approximately 11:30 p.m. and fire crews left the scene.

No physical injuries are reported as a result of the fire.
