What’s closed on Sept. 30 in Burlington, Oakville and Milton

This year, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation falls on Friday, Sept. 30.

The statutory holiday commemorates the legacy of residential schools, as recommended by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

Halton residents are reminded that it is not a public holiday and only federally regulated workplaces including the federal government, banks and post offices will be closed.

So, without further ado, here’s what’s closed on Sept. 30 in Oakville, Burlington, Milton and Halton Hills.
