How Milton residents can fast-track their way to becoming a lifeguard

Milton residents who are interested in becoming a lifeguard will be able to fast-track their way by taking a course offered by the Town.

The Town’s “Total Lifeguard Course” covers all aspects of Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, Standard First Aid and National Lifeguard and is ideal for adult learners looking to become lifeguards.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older and be comfortable swimmers in order to take the course.

The course meets on Mondays at the Milton Leisure Centre and Wednesdays at the Milton Sports Centre from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The cost of the course is $450.00 plus tax.
