A man and a woman were taken to hospital after a pair of crashes involving vehicles, an e-bike and a scooter in Brampton.

The first crash happened before 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday (Aug. 17) according to Peel Regional Police, who say officers were called to the area of Clarke Blvd. and Central Park Dr. for reports of a crash between a scooter and a vehicle.

Police say an adult female from the scooter was taken to a trauma centre by ambulance and was in stable, non-life threatening condition. Roads in the area of the crash were closed off until around 4:00 p.m.

The second incident happened around an hour later in the area of Williams Pkwy. and McLaughlin Rd., according to police.

PRP say officers were called to the scene for reports of an e-bike crashing with a vehicle.

A male on the e-bike was taken to a trauma centre by ambulance, but police did not comment on the extent of the man’s injuries.

Police say the vehicles in both incidents stayed on at the scene of the crashes.
