800-home development coming to north Oshawa

Minto Communities GTA has launched the first phase of a new master-planned community in north Oshawa.
The 90-acre Heights of Harmony community in the city’s Kedron neighbourhood will feature 800 single-family homes and townhomes, with floor plans ranging from 1,992 sq. ft to 3,049 sq.ft, with prices starting in the high $700s.
Phase one will offer buyers a variety of model options, with energy-efficient options such as Net Zero Ready, and smart features that connect buyers you to the home’s thermostat, provide heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system monitoring, alert you to water leaks, and help you track and measure the energy performance of your home.
Green spaces will include a new 28-acre park and pathways to a neighbouring six-kilometre trail system.
The community is located near the intersection of Harmony and Winchester roads.
Minto Homes is the 2021 winner for Large Builder of the Year by the Durham Region Home Builders Association.
