70-year-old Welland man missing for nearly two weeks, possibly in Toronto

The Niagara Police are searching for a 70-year-old Welland man, missing since November 30.

Werner Hoefel was last seen on November 30 at 3 pm in the Lincoln Street and Denistoun Street area of Welland.

Hoefel is described as a white male, 6-foot, 190 pounds with grey hair and a grey beard, usually wearing a baseball cap.

The police say there is a belief he may be in the Toronto area.

3 District officers are asking the public for assistance.  Anyone who may have information as to the whereabouts of Werner are being asked to contact the NRPS Communications Unit at 905-688-4111.
