Durham Police seized more than $7 million in cocaine this week in one of the police service’s largest ever drug busts.

Investigators with the Durham Police Drug Enforcement wrapped up a drug investigation Monday, arresting a 17-year-old for trafficking and then executing a search warrant at a facility in Toronto, where they discovered 325 kilograms of cocaine valued at more than $7 million.

No other details on the arrest were released and police are asking anyone with information about this “or similar incidents” to contact the Drug Enforcement Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5802.
