UPDATE: 67-year-old St Catharines resident missing since Aug. 28 has police concerned

UPDATE: The woman from St. Catharines who has been missing since late August has been located by Niagara Regional Police.  Police confirm that the woman is safe.


Niagara Regional Police have issued a public appeal for information regarding the disappearance of a 67-year-old woman from St. Catharines who was last seen over a month ago.

On Monday (Aug. 28) police say the woman was last seen near Glendale Ave, close to Mountain St.

Police are increasingly concerned about her well-being.

Investigators have released a photo of the woman along with a description, in hopes to locate her and safely bring her home.

The woman is described as a white woman, who is 5-foot-7 in height, and weighs approximately 280 pounds.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing blue jeans, a t-shirt, and a black hat.

Police are urging anyone with information on the missing woman’s whereabouts to contact NRPS Communications immediately at 905-688-4111.
