Someone in Brampton became a millionaire in yesterday’s Lotto Max draw and they may not even know about their life-changing win.

The OLG says there was one Encore prize-winning ticket worth $1 million sold in Brampton for the Tuesday (Jan. 17) Lotto Max draw. And while a cool $1-million payday isn’t anything to sneeze at, there’s another ticket floating around the GTA worth a heck of a lot more.

A jackpot-winning ticket worth $60 million was sold somewhere in Richmond Hill, according to the OLG. On top of the jackpot, an Encore prize-winning ticket worth $100,000 was sold in London, and another was sold on OLG.ca.

OLG reminds players that they can check their tickets from home on OLG.ca, by using the OLG App on their mobile device, signing up on OLG.ca for winning number email alerts or by calling 416-870-8946 or toll-free at 1-866-891-8946.

The OLG is booking in-person prize claim appointments at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto, with prize winners between $1,000 and $49,999.90 encouraged to submit their claims online or mail them.

Submitting claims online is fast and secure, and enables OLG to process the claim in a timely manner. Customers with prizes over $50,000 are asked to call 1-800-387-0098 to discuss available prize claim options.
