Gary Mc’Quillan of Mississauga has his sight set on adventure now that he is $500,000 richer thanks to Lotto Max.

He has already enjoyed some adventure because he traveled all the way to Sutton West to purchase his winning ticket at Sobey’s on Dalton Rd. Now he hopes to broaden his horizons.

Mc’Quillan won the prize by splitting a $1 million Maxmillions jackpot with someone else in the June 15 draw of Lotto Max.

He says he is a regular player.

“I checked my ticket the day after the draw using the OLG Lottery App,” he said. “When it said ‘Big Winner’ I was surprised. I had to show my phone to my wife to take a closer look – I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me!”

The retiree said he now has travel on his mind.

“This win will fund some adventures with my wife and family,” he said. “This win feels very good.”
