Oshawa Super Strike lottery winner

An Oshawa auto worker turned a “pretty-looking yellow ticket” into a $50,000 INSTANT SUPER STRIKE win – a year after striking it rich with a $250,000 with another instant lottery game.

David Glover, who has been working in the auto sector and playing lottery games for more than 40 years, was at the store as part of his “daily ritual” when he decided to buy the ticket.

“I purchased four, asking the store clerk to give me one of the pretty-looking yellow tickets, which ended up being an INSTANT SUPER STRIKE,” he remembered while once again visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I took my ticket over to the store’s ticket checker right away. I didn’t have my glasses on and had to scan it twice to be sure I’d read the prize amount right!”

Glover headed home to share the incredible news with his wife. “She thought I’d won $5,000, but when I told her to look at the back of my ticket, she was shocked, saying, ‘You won again?’ I called my daughter, and she was very excited too,” he smiled. “Winning for a second time has been exhilarating! I never thought I would have this experience again.”

He experienced his first big win in the summer of 2024, taking home $250,000 after winning with INSTANT NEON CASINO.

Glover plans to invest his windfall and will put some thought into taking a trip.

INSTANT SUPER STRIKE is available for $50 a play and the top prize is $50,000. Odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.29.

The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K/Esso on Harmony Road North in Oshawa.
