$50,000 is the reward for Burlington woman getting the numbers right

In the case of Melvina Thomas, she did both.
The 59-year-old was able to pick up a big prize and then headed back to her Burlington home this week where she will consider what to do with her newfound $50,000.
Thomas won the prize playing the OLG game Dailey Keno 8 Pick where players pick their strategy and their bet before their prize is revealed.
She said her first big win gave her an amazing feeling when she discovered that her picks came through through while studying her ticket at home.
She said she kept the news of her win secret until now.

“I thought, OMG! This is so great!” she said while collecting her prize at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.
She plans to use her winnings to pay bills.
The winning ticket was purchased at Becker’s on Upper Middle Road in Burlington.
