5 of the most expensive homes that recently sold in Mississauga

While many–if not most–prospective buyers are hoping to land a more affordable home in Mississauga, there are some buyers out there with deep pockets and a passion for luxurious properties. 

Although the average home price in the city still sits at a pricey $1,022,312, there are some houses that are selling for a lot more and real estate website and brokerage Zoocasa recently unveiled a list of homes that changed hands for more than $3 million. 

Here’s a look at the five most expensive homes that recently sold in Mississauga:

665 Meadow Wood Rd.

This six-bedroom, seven-bathroom home in the coveted Clarkson-Lorne Park area recently sold for $3,850,000 after hitting the market at $4,288,000. Situated on 1.48 acres of land that backs onto Rattray Marsh, the house offers over 9,000 square feet of living space, a gourmet kitchen, spacious dining room and a primary bedroom with a spa-like ensuite bathroom.
