Some people want an affordable property, while others want something with a little more space and some more luxurious touches.
While prices are down from the highs they hit early last year, homes in Mississauga are not what one would necessarily call affordable. Real estate website and brokerage Zoocasa says that, based on the number of sales in December 2022, Mississauga was the second most in-demand city in the GTA, following Toronto.
As far as prices go, the average home price (all home types combined) hit $977,016 in December–a decline of 4.4 per cent from November 2022.
Despite the slight decrease in prices, some are still willing to purchase properties above the $1 million mark.
