5 of the most expensive homes that recently sold in Mississauga

Some people want an affordable property, while others want something with a little more space and some more luxurious touches. 

While prices are down from the highs they hit early last year, homes in Mississauga are not what one would necessarily call affordable. Real estate website and brokerage Zoocasa says that, based on the number of sales in December 2022, Mississauga was the second most in-demand city in the GTA, following Toronto. 

As far as prices go, the average home price (all home types combined) hit $977,016 in December–a decline of 4.4 per cent from November 2022. 

Despite the slight decrease in prices, some are still willing to purchase properties above the $1 million mark.

Here’s a look at five of the most expensive properties that recently changed hands in Mississauga:

1086 Runningbrook Dr.

This five-bedroom, three-bathroom house in Mississauga’s Applewood neighbourhood offers more than 2,000 square feet of space. The house, which boasts a basement apartment, sold for $1,280,000 after hitting the market at $1,399,900. The home features a large living room, a new roof and is freshly painted.

This three-bedroom, three-bathroom house, which features a stylish but homey interior, sold for $1,340,000 after being listed at $1,399,900. Located in Lakeview, the move-in ready home features a spacious kitchen, a family-friendly backyard and proximity to good schools.

This home, which boasts four bedrooms and four bathrooms, recently sold for $1,350,000 after being listed for $1,399,900.
