Trying to find a decent place to live at a reasonable price in Mississauga isn’t easy these days.

News yesterday that the Bank of Canada raised the key interest rate to 4.75 per cent isn’t making things better for those looking for a mortgage.

But although detached home prices are increasing, the latest real estate report shows condo prices decreasing slightly in May.

Those in the market for a modest condo may find a few inexpensive options in Mississauga.

The five least expensive homes sold in Mississauga in May are all under $500,000, according to real estate brokerage Zoocasa.
