5 most inexpensive homes sold in Oakville and Halton Hills in April

While the Halton Region (Oakville, Burlington, Milton and Halton Hills)  is not known for boasting easily attainable homes (in March, the average home price in the region sat at $1,244,298), some homes priced at under $500,000 changed hands last month. 

Here’s a look at five of the cheapest homes to change hands in Halton, courtesy of real estate website and brokerage Zoocasa:


501 – 509 Dundas St W – Oakville

This one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo in Oakville’s River Oaks neighbourhood recently sold for $423,900–the same price it was listed for. According to the listing, it was initially listed for $579,000 in August 2023 before being temporarily taken off the market. The home spans over 500 square feet and offers nine-foot ceilings, laminate flooring and stainless steel appliances. 


412 – 3005 Pine Glen Rd. – Oakville

This condo boasts one bedroom, one bathroom and over 500 square feet of space. It sold for $426,000 after hitting the market at $399,999. Located in a brand-new building in the West Oak Trails area, the suite features floor-to-ceiling windows, a designer kitchen with quartz countertops, smooth ceilings and views of Lake Ontario. 


1203 – 2263 Marine Dr. – Oakville

This spacious (over 700 square feet) one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo in Bronte sold for $431,000 after being listed for $448,000. Located in a popular waterfront community, it features an updated kitchen, a spacious living room, and a large closet. The building boasts a gym, sauna, outdoor pool, and library. 


203 – 24 Ransom St. – Halton Hills

This Acton home boasts two bedrooms, one bathroom and over 500 square feet of space. The suite sold for $445,000, just slightly less than its listing price of $449,000. Close to the town’s downtown core, the unit features ensuite laundry, a private balcony and parking for visitors. 


309 – 1490 Bishops Gate – Oakville

This one-bedroom, one-bathroom, one-den unit spans over 700 square feet and offers a large primary bedroom, a four-piece bathroom and ensuite laundry. The suite sold for $480,000–just under the listing price of $489,000. The building offers a car wash bay, gym, extra parking and proximity to transit.
