5 most expensive homes sold in Mississauga last month

The most expensive homes sold list in Mississauga is out.
The real estate market appears to be slowly coming out of a lull. The benchmark price for a home in Mississauga was $1,036,200 in January 2024, up only 0.2 per cent compared to January 2023, according to the Mississauga Real Estate Board.
Last month, Zoocasa noted a “positive shift is happening in the Mississauga market.”
But the most expensive homes sold nearly all went for under the asking price, according to a list compiled by Zoocasa.
Here are the five most expensive homes sold in February:
386 Birchwood Dr.
Designed by award-winning architect Gren Weis, this three-bedroom home is nestled among tall trees in the Lorne Park community. It sits on a large lot with a private yard. A skylight offers natural light in the kitchen.
This home sold for $2,150,000 on Feb. 13, under the asking price of $2,250,000.
4908 Forest Hill Dr.
This five-bedroom home in Erin Mills comes with 4,261 square feet of living space and a three-car garage. An office on the second floor could also be converted to a bedroom.
This home sold for $2,235,000 on Feb. 14, over the asking price of $2,199,000.
1090 Caldwell Ave.
This four-bedroom home in Lorne Park is surrounded by mature trees. It has a two-car garage, a built-in fireplace in the family room and high-end appliances in the kitchen.
This home sold for the list price of $2,349,850 on Feb. 10.
2255 Otami Trail
Located in Sheridan, this four-bedroom home has a fully landscaped front and backyard and a gourmet kitchen overlooking a sunken family room. The finished basement includes a second full kitchen, a bedroom, office and an open-concept recreation room.
This home sold for $2,450,000 on Feb. 6, under the asking price of $2,488,800.

2163 Primate Rd.
The most expensive home on the list is the only one to sell for over $3 million. Located in Lakeview, this new, custom-built home boasts over 5,000 square feet of living space. Features include a three-sided gas fireplace, a heated patio, a wine feature wall and a hidden pantry.
This home sold for $3,550,000 on Feb. 21, under the asking price of $3,998,000.
