$5 million jackpot, several other big lottery prizes won in Ontario

Wednesday’s Lotto 6/49 draw was a big one for Ontario.

Several large prizes were won in the province, including the classic jackpot.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation told INsauga.com that a ticket sold in Oakville marched six out of six numbers in the classic draw to take home $5,000,000.

A ticket sold in Mississauga, meanwhile, matched five out of six numbers, plus the bonus, to win the second-place prize of $182,976.20, the OLG said.

As for the gold ball draw, while the gold ball wasn’t pulled, the guaranteed $1 million prize was also won in Ontario.

That went to a ticket sold in Thornhill.

And lastly, a ticket sold on OLG.ca won $100,000 on Encore.

Saturday’s Lotto 6/49 draw has the classic jackpot at its fixed $5 million, as well as the gold ball jackpot at $30 million, or the guaranteed $1 million prize.
