A four-year-old girl pedestrian suffered serious injuries after she was hit by a car while trying to cross the street in an Ajax neighbourhood on Tuesday.
Police responded to a pedestrian-involved collision at Keith Wright Crescent and Gillett Drive on 8:30 p.m. on June 30. The four-year-old was struck by a Honda Civic as she was crossing Keith Wright Crescent. She was taken to a Toronto trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The 16-year-old driver and 38-year-old passenger of the Honda did not sustain any injuries and remained on scene for the investigation.
