4-vehicle crash snarls traffic on busy Brampton street

Police are warning drivers to avoid a busy Brampton intersection following a four-vehicle crash on Tuesday.

The collision happened shortly after 12:15 p.m. at Sandalwood Parkway and Mclaughlin Road in Brampton with four vehicles involved in the crash, Peel Regional Police said.

Peel Regional Paramedics Services were called to the scene but police say no “major injuries” were reported. Police have not said whether any victims required transport to hospital.

The crash has police asking commuters to steer clear of the intersection while cleanup is underway. Drivers should avoid the area and use alternate routes if possible.
