4 vehicle collision on highway caused by impaired driver in Mississauga

The OPP Highway Safety Division were on the scene of a collision last night (May 28) in Mississauga where one driver had alcohol readily accessible.

Police say four vehicles were involved in the collision on Highway 401 at Highway 410 collectors.

One driver is charged with impaired driving after police found several beer cans as well as an open bottle of liqueur in their car.

Other individuals involved in the collision received minor injuries.

Police remind drivers, “If you drink, don’t drive. If you drive, don’t drink!”
