Police caught four masked people with weapons outside a Caledon home.

A resident called police when they spotted the four masked individuals armed with firearms outside a private residence in the area of Beech Grove Sideroad and Horseshoe Hill Road in Caledon on March 24 around 12:30 a.m., OPP said in a press release on April 3.

Police responded and took four suspects into custody without incident or injury, police said.

Four Brampton residents face charges.

Angad Gosal, 18, Bhavjit Sandhu, 18, and two 16-year-old Brampton residents were charged with disguise with intent; carrying a concealed weapon, imitation firearm – use while committing offence; break, enter a place – commit indictable offence; and possession of an imitation weapon for dangerous purpose, police said.

The identities of the 16-year-olds are withheld under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

The teens are set to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville at a later date to answer to the charges.

The Caledon OPP considers this an isolated incident and there is no threat to public safety.
